Lauren George
Communications Officer
Lauren is a communications officer for the Economic Law and Policy program and serves as the communications lead for IISD’s tax workstream. She has over 4 years of experience in communications and external relations in the humanitarian sector.
Prior to IISD, Lauren held communications roles at Acted, a French humanitarian organization based in Paris, and the French Human Rights Commission. She has expertise in digital communications, event management, and press relations.
Lauren completed her master’s and bachelor's degrees in business management from EDHEC Business School in Lille, France, with a specialization in international economics from Universitat de Barcelona.
She is based out of Berlin, Germany, and speaks English, French, and Spanish fluently.
